Oppressed people are people who experienced something cruel or unjust treatment for a long period of time. Systems of oppression are a organized way of doing something, but cruel for a long period of time. Levels of oppression are what is called the 3 I’s of oppression. First we have institutional oppression that is when oppression happens because of laws, rules or policies. Second we have Internalized of oppression, when oppression happens because of people to believe negative narratives about themselves. And third  we have Interpersonal oppression, when oppression happens because of how one person behaves towards another. People experience different systems of oppression because they start to be treated unfairly or cruel such as this Afghan girls, terrorists were throwing acid to them, or explosive, in order to stop them from going to school.

To begin with people  experienced the different levels of oppression such as interpersonal oppression, because of a false testimony of someone accusing another person. This document is about a white woman accusing a black kid of grabbing her, and touching her . When Carolyn brothers heard what she said they rapidly went to look for Emmett and once they found him they kill him. This document is a quote from the article of New York Times Newspaper. The article is titled “Woman Linked to 1955 Emmett Till Murder Tells Historian Her Claims Were False” and it was written by Richard Perez-Pena on January 27,2017.  A quote from this document that proves my answer to the big question is “he wrote that she said of her long-ago allegation that Emmett Till grabbed her and was menacing and sexually crude toward her.” This quote supports my claim because this white woman named Carolyn accused Emmett Till of doing bad to her, when he did none to her, this is interpersonal oppression because we can see Carolyn’s brother acted cruel towards since he and other men killed Emmett with no fair reasons, and there’s a lot of people who have been on this situation over and over again.

In conclusion, people experienced different levels of oppression such as interpersonal oppression,  because they get paid less than white people just because of their identities . This document is about weekly earnings and salary workers by sex, race, and ethnicity, white get a higher salary than Black or African American, Black are paid more than Asian people, and Asian people are paid more than Hispanic or Latino ethnicity.  This document is a graph from The United States Department of Labor, which is a government agency that keeps track of all the people working in that country, created on the year 2009. According to this graph not matter what race or ethnicity a woman is, women always get paid less than man. This is interpersonal oppression because there is no law that says that women should be pay less than, it’s just the people with power/money (bosses) who act like this towards woman, and a lot of times is because they think that women are not capable of doing anything.
